Responsibilities:
- Maintain process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods and guidelines
- Maintain equipment records by filing documents
- Monitor/Support plant with equipment installation and launch
- Prepare all sourcing activities from RFQ to PO for any major outside tooling and equipment purchases. (i.e. continuity testers)
- Develop detailed manufacturing plans for new programs that will require new equipment or retool of existing equipment
- Understanding of operations (Sequencing/Sub-assembly, shipping and receiving)
- Assist launch team with training
- Coordinate program request change
- Act as liaison and work with team members to make sure best practices and plant goals are driven and met to standard
- Provide guidance and support to ensure that assembly process, tooling, and equipment will improve through quality, scrap/rework, reduce cost and reliability
- Promote health and safety in all phases of engineering and launch
- Ability to work in and team environment
- Responsible for equipment certification and escalate any issues to leadership
- Work with PC&L team to optimize material flow to production line
- Maintain process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods and guidelines
- Ensure manufacturing of good parts (OEE)
- Keep organization protected by maintaining strict confidentiality
- Collaborate with Quality Engineer to Drive Quality (PFMEA, Reverse PFMEA, Error-proofing plan, Control Plan) of assembly processes that meet and exceed plant standards
- Teach, Lead and improve all areas of business
- All other duties as assigned
Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Engineering
- Supervisory experience in manufacturing field preferred
- 3+ years experience in assembly or manufacturing
- 2+ years experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) system
