BelFlex Staffing is looking for a career-minded Manufacturing Engineer for our Piedmont SC client

Pay- $60-$90K

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods and guidelines
  • Maintain equipment records by filing documents
  • Monitor/Support plant with equipment installation and launch
  • Prepare all sourcing activities from RFQ to PO for any major outside tooling and equipment purchases. (i.e. continuity testers)
  • Develop detailed manufacturing plans for new programs that will require new equipment or retool of existing equipment
  • Understanding of operations (Sequencing/Sub-assembly, shipping and receiving)
  • Assist launch team with training
  • Coordinate program request change
  • Act as liaison and work with team members to make sure best practices and plant goals are driven and met to standard
  • Provide guidance and support to ensure that assembly process, tooling, and equipment will improve through quality, scrap/rework, reduce cost and reliability
  • Promote health and safety in all phases of engineering and launch
  • Ability to work in and team environment
  • Responsible for equipment certification and escalate any issues to leadership
  • Work with PC&L team to optimize material flow to production line
  • Maintain process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods and guidelines
  • Ensure manufacturing of good parts (OEE)
  • Keep organization protected by maintaining strict confidentiality 
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineer to Drive Quality (PFMEA, Reverse PFMEA, Error-proofing plan, Control Plan) of assembly processes that meet and exceed plant standards
  • Teach, Lead and improve all areas of business
  • All other duties as assigned

Education/Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Engineering
  • Supervisory experience in manufacturing field preferred
  • 3+ years experience in assembly or manufacturing
  • 2+ years experience with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) system
