Maintenance Technician
BELFLEX IS LOOKING FOR A MAINTENANCE TECHINICIAN WITH AT LEAST 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE
This is a DIRECT HIRE OPENING for an 8p-8a shift. (2 2 3)
This position will ensure all aspects of the plant mechanical systems are operating at full capacity by performing routine preventive maintenance, including inspecting, replacing, or changing any part necessary.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
High school diploma or GED required.
Knowledge of industrial production systems and maintenance.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Basic understanding of science and physics as it pertains to manufacturing practices.
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Print Reading
Power Transmission
Lubrication
Pumps and Piping
Mechanical Maintenance
Shop Machine – Tool and Equipment
5 years experience with maintenance and reliability in a manufacturing environment.
5 years experience installing and maintaining process equipment and piping.
5 years experience with welding.
5 years experience troubleshooting mechanical systems.
- Position requires work on nights and weekends.
- Support, service, and maintain the plant electrical and mechanical components to meet the production goals.
- Complete preventative maintenance and work required on improvement/capital projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
Troubleshooting AC/DC drives.
Familiarity with PLC Control systems.
Familiarity with communications networks.
