Pay: $20-21.00
Shift: 5am-1:30pm Monday-Friday; occasional overtime and Saturdays

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility for this position will be troubleshooting, repairs, maintaining safe-efficient machinery and performing preventive maintenance, such as:
• Weld machines
• Robotic Weld Machine
• Hydraulic Brake Presses
• CNC Angle and Structural beam line machines
• Industrial Air Compressors
• Electrical Industrial applications Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)
• Powder booth CNC & PLC controls, burners and washers
• Monorail conveyance systems for the paint lines, such as chains, sprocket, drive motors etc.
• Plan and execute projects in a manner which minimizes downtime.
• Develop and maintain electrical and controls system documentation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment from various suppliers.
• Quickly identify root causes of problems, as mechanical, controls or joint problems and coordinate resources necessary to address them.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Performs and track preventive maintenance inspections and ensures the timely and effective repair of any problems identified during an inspection.
• Advises supervisor immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
• Estimates time and material costs on repairs and requisitions new parts.
• Ability to keep a cost tracker of maintenance repairs by machine so the team can analyze which machines are requiring most expenditures
• Preferred but not required: Lean initiatives such as: kaizens, 5S, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and others
• Lock out/Tag out protocol

This Maintenance Technician must have the ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics while performing test and repairs accordingly. Experience with disassembly, repair/replacement, and re-assembly of mechanical and electrical components on industrial machinery is required.
Experience with bearings, couplings, motors, gear boxes are essential, including familiarity with industrial controls CNC/PLC, a must.
