Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in our production facility. They will work closely with the production team to ensure that equipment is running smoothly, and downtime is minimized. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment.
- Repair and replace defective parts on machinery and equipment.
- Install new machinery and equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when working on machinery and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and controls.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work 2nd shift 2:30pm -11pm or 3rd shift 11pm -7:30am
