Shift: 5am – 1:30pm Monday-Friday; occasional overtime and Saturdays
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Work safe and efficiently in a demanding manufacturing environment producing steel products such as Roll formed beams, frames, structural beams, columns, handrails, stairs, pipe, casings, Safety Products, and other projects as needed. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• The General Labor position can be assigned various task such as banding, stacking, packing, cleaning, grinding, painting, and assisting Machine Operators with essential support.
• Cleans and lubricates equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.
• Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
• May be trained to act as forklift operator when normal operator is out.
• Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
• Performs other related duties as assigned. General Laborers should be quality minded and motivated to meet goals and deadlines that fluctuate with production demands. General Laborers must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills. General Laborer’s must also possess advanced problem-solving skills, must be dependable, punctual and thrive in a team environment.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
Previous experience is preferred. Candidate must possess a superior work ethic, maintain superior attendance and punctuality, and be a team player.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
• Must be able to read tape measures and perform basic math
• Ability to work in a variety of roles.
• Previous experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Is responsible for personal safety and the safety of others in the workforce through adherence to safety regulations
• Must wear all personal protective equipment required in various areas of the operation and assure that this equipment is kept in good repair.

• Usual warehouse working conditions.
• Daily exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors.
• Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping
• Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time.
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
