GE Inspection 3rd shift

3rd shift: 10:30p-7:00a
$17-$18 per hour

Requirements include but are not limited to: 

• Proficiency in operating the GE tumbler, washers, and inspection machine
• Proficiency in visual inspections and verifications
• Documentation of inventory movement through the use of company computer system
• Documentation of inventory movement on hard copy work orders
• Ongoing preventative maintenance of the tumbler, washers, and inspection equipment
• Regular participation in facilities maintenance with view toward safety and good housekeeping practices
• Safe and proficient use of all warehouse equipment
• Maintain traceability of parts and stock

• Maintain a clean working environment using 5S guidelines

• Deburr when there is not a deburr step on the order if needed
• Perform quality verification checks as required
• Printing all required labels
• Packaging orders for shipment

Additional Job Functions:

• Responsible for safely driving a forklift
• Effectively communicating with QA, sales, supervisors, and scheduling regarding order statuses, issues or other questions
• Training additional personnel in required GE inspection tasks
• Advising and/or suggesting improvements to the GE inspection process
• Ability to work as a team player with minimal supervision
• Capable of working at a fast pace without overlooking detail

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to stand on concrete for the entire shift
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”
• Ability to make simple decimal – fraction conversions
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to use/read micrometers, calipers, and scales
