BelFlex is seeking several, entry-level Production Associates / General Laborers for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity, with one of the highest quality custom dry ingredients blending companies, located in J-town, Ky. This is a 2nd shift opportunity, working Monday – Thursday, 4:30 pm – 3:00 am, with OT worked on Fridays. Pay is $16.00/hour. BELFLEX offers weekly pay and referral bonuses!!

Essential Duties + Responsibilities:
- Stack and palatalize ingredients by hand.
- Weigh bags/containers, adjust quantity as needed.
- Move bags from filling machine to conveyor for sealing.
- Place bags into boxes, seal boxes with tape machine.
- Maintain clean work area at all times
- Visually inspect materials, products, and containers.
- Record information such as weight, time, and date packaged.
- Read work order and/or follow oral instructions for handling product.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials, or mark information on bags or boxes.
- Read analog or digital clock.
- Line and pad pallets and assemble cartons.
- Label containers, container tags, or products.
Requirements:
- Able to read, write and communicate in English to record essential information for government inspection.
- Basic math skills
- Addition and subtraction to the hundreds and hundredths place.
Physical Demands / Requirements:
- Required to stand for duration of shift.
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- Required to walk; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds,
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
