Class A Control Panel Wirer

QT Corporation in Wilson, NC, is a 30-million-dollar a year industry leader in UL 891 custom Switch Gear, UL 508A industrial Control panel fabrication for companies such as Pinegate, NextEra, Crypto Can Man, and other major solar and bitcoin industries. QT Corporation is seeking a Class A Control Panel Wirer to join our fast-paced, growing company. We are seeking a highly organized, detailed oriented individual with experience in Class A Control Panel wiring.

Job Requirements

One to two years’ demonstrated experience in the electrical wiring field.
Experience in reading and interpreting schematic drawings, diagrams, work orders, bills of material, parts list, wire list, instructions for wiring or assembly, hand written notes, and/or verbal instructions.
Possess in-depth understanding of wire colors, wire size, strip length, and crimping.
Use of a variety of tools (including specialized crimpers, torque wrenches, wire strippers, precision measurement instruments, calipers, pliers, screw drivers, etc.)
Ability to do wire cutting, stripping, and securing of wire or wire bundles.
Ability to use computer to print wire markers or labels.
Reviews schematics and wiring diagrams with lead and project engineers.
Develops and understands a build plan to meet UL standards.
Determines an optimal layout of electrical components in accordance with drawings.
Performs point-to-point control panel wiring.
Work with electrical engineers to correct or improve upon documents related to the assembly process. Good time-management skills.
Strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
Knowledge of code compliance.
Ability to perform duties standing, kneeling, or squatting.
Conduct in-process inspections on product for quality requirements.
Understand and participate in the application of testing equipment.
Ability to work and communicate with a variety of personalities.

Hourly: $17.00 to $23.00 an hour depending on experience
