Key Responsibilities:

Machining Mastery:

• Set up and control single or multiple CNC machining centers with finesse.
• Program CNC lathes and mills to craft close tolerance parts that meet exact specifications.

Quality Assurance Excellence:

• Utilize special gauges and fixtures to meticulously check the quality of produced parts.
• Demonstrate a keen understanding of specifications to establish quality and efficiency.

Innovation Collaboration:

• Support production engineers during the design phase of new projects.
• Install fixtures and tooling in lathes and mills, ensuring seamless tool changes.

Precision Programming:

• Program machining processes to guarantee the manufacturing of components to precise specifications.
• Read and interpret routers and drawings with precision to machine products to perfection.

Maintenance Maestro:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance, contributing to the longevity of equipment.
• Assist maintenance personnel during necessary repairs or maintenance cycles.

Record-Keeping Guru:

• Maintain meticulous records of work performed and set-ups established in each production cell.

Safety Sentinel:

• Identify and address safety issues in production cells, actively contributing to a safer work environment.
• Wear personal protective equipment as needed to ensure a secure work environment.

Team Player:

• Collaborate with the quality department during the launch phase to ensure efficient set-up and programming.
• Adhere to plant-wide 5S System for maintaining equipment and work areas.

Compliance Champion:

• Ensure all activities comply with Quality System Requirements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years experience with CNC Lathes/Mills setup/programming or College Degree in Machine Tool or similar
• Mechanically inclined
• Familiar with Setup
