BelFlex Staffing is looking for a skilled Certified Weld Inspector for our Greenville SC client

DIRECT HIRE Opportunity!!
Pay- $28-$32hr DOE

Shift-6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, OT available/needed Fridays

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure weld activities are witnessed/monitored through approved processes
  • Issue NCR (nonconformance records) and provide feedback with team
  • Follow specific oral and written instructions and (Perform detailed) for process, visual, and dimensional inspection
  • Record all testing results and findings into manufacturing software
  • Inspect material for type, size, quality, etc prior to welding for precision of conforming parts
  • Understand basic specifications, blueprints, and customer drawings/designs
  • Inspect finished components and parts including (fittings for leaks, tubing, and piping)
  • Perform timely in-process, and final inspections of weld process, components, and parts
  • Utilize gauge pins, borescopes, XRF scanner, optical comparators, calipers and micrometers to examine process and completed parts
  • Evaluate the acceptability and validity of testing results, inspection and examination
  • Perform all work within the scope of safety policies and procedures
  • Issue certificates of conformance for completed orders
  • Willing to perform other duties as trained and able
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5-7 years in quality role performing inspections using different methods on welded parts
Certifications:
  • Current Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) required
  • Experience with or certification in Visual Inspection (VT) a plus
