Body Shop Technician – Spot Repair
Body Shop Technician – Spot Repair Responsibilities:
- Preparing the vehicle for painting by applying body filler, prime spot areas for paint and tape
- Assist painters in pre-paint blending
- Ensure vehicle production stays on track by delivering painted cars to other stations in the production line
- Must meet our set of quality standards while performing their duties in a safe manner
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating equipment such as a sander, DA and buffer a plus.
- Attention to detail steady hand to tape vehicles correctly.
- Ability to work as a team and strong communication skills to keep vehicles on schedule.
- Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices.
- Flexibility to work periodic overtime on weekdays and weekends on occasion.
- A strong work ethic and desire to grow professionally.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, such as standing for an extended amount of time
- Must be able to move about the production floor, ascending/descending ladders, or other equipment
- Constantly moving, stopping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, and/or crawling
- Must be able to observe and inspect materials and equipment
- Frequently moves materials and equipment weighing up to 50lbs
- Occasionally works in cold or hot temperatures
