Automotive Assembler
Automotive Assembler Responsibilities:
- Be a versatile member of our production staff and be jack-of-all-trades on the production floor.
- Install all interior and exterior vehicle elements as well as electrical components.
- Adjusting, trimming, and manually fitting parts using a variety of hand-tools.
- Install carpet, door pads and mechanisms, headliners, vinyl, interior or exterior bands and moldings.
- Adhere to all company, local and federal safety guidelines
Automotive Assembler Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in vehicle conversions and wiring a plus
- Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail and ability to verify components installed correctly
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and supervisors
Automotive Assembler Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, such as standing for an extended amount of time
- Must be able to move about the production floor, ascending/descending ladders, or other equipment
- Constantly moving, stopping, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, and/or crawling
- Must be able to observe and inspect materials and equipment
- Frequently moves materials and equipment weighing up to 50lbs
- Occasionally works in cold or hot temperatures
